April 29, 2010

FOREST PARK | Bail was set at $750,000 each for two
men accused of burglarizing numerous apartments and
condos on the northeast side of Forest Park.

Donald R. Ingram, 47, of Chicago and Derrick A. Herron,
46, of Forest Park appeared in Cook County court in
Maywood for their first appearance on seven counts each
of residential burglary, attempted residential burglary,
possession of burglary tools and theft, said Assistant
State’s Atty. Andres
Almendarez.

Both have “extremely” long criminal backgrounds and
would have to post $75,000 cash to be released from
Cook County Jail, Almendarez said. Herron is on parole
for a previous burglary conviction.

Forest Park police believe two men are responsible for 11
residential break-ins or attempted burglaries since June.
The investigation is ongoing.
